He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Loyola University in 1986 & his postgraduate certificates in Periodontics from western University.  He is a Cosmetic Dentistry Instructor & Graduate of the Aesthetic Advantage Continuum, the most acclaimed Aesthetic dentistry course in the country! 

An active member of many prestigious Dental Associations, Dr. Dotson is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of GP Orthodontics, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Chicago Dental Society and the Illinois State Dental Society.  He was an Instructor at western University Dental School and he was named in the 2003 Consumer Publication, “America’s Top Dentist”.  His practice has been featured on Fox News, Fox Morning Show, ABC’s 190 Show, The Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Magazine as well as various trade publications and local newspapers.
